Workforce Program Coordinator

Nuvance Health is dedicated to supporting workforce development programs, and they are seeking a Workforce Program Coordinator to assist with program planning, execution, and reporting. This role will serve as a key point of contact for external workforce initiatives and help drive organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Help plan and coordinate workforce development programs for Nuvance Health
Work with Director and Career Navigators to support program activities coordination, timelines, and scopes of work
Serve as a key point of contact between the Workforce Development Team and external partners, including nonprofits/service providers, academic affiliates and other support, workforce and career training organizations
Liaise with Career Navigators and internal hospital clients to help define and execute onsite program logistics
Ensure that service providers are adhering to line requirements and MOU’s
Coordinate experiential learning opportunities within the Nuvance Health system, ensuring that all program participants have a positive experience
Analyze program progress and when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
Compile outcomes of initiatives and provide best practice recommendations
Compile and regularly update Workforce team and internal stakeholders on assigned program metrics, outcomes and workforce participant conversion rates
Help advocate for workforce development program participants and drive community hires from the assigned programs
Coordinate and support private and public funded workforce and career development programs in collaboration with Workforce Development, Talent Strategy, HR, Operations, Nuvance Foundation, and other departments as needed
Regularly present workforce programs and outcomes both internally and externally
Perform all other duties as assigned and achieve unit and departmental goals while adhering to Nuvance Health standards and best practices
Work with Career Navigators on external workforce program planning, execution and reporting
Attend external stakeholder meetings of both community based and academic organizations
Deliver to the program perimeters based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders
Ensure the proper coordination and communication between external partners and workforce participants is consistent and clear
Ensure that all aspects of assigned workforce program(s) are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverable requirements
Support workforce participant conversion into Nuvance Health into full time or part time roles
Organize program performance data, tracking progress, workforce hires and achievements of milestones
Coordinate workforce initiative communications to Internal stakeholders and at the hospital locations
Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost program efficiency and maximize outcomes
Report on project risks to appropriate management and escalate issues according to project work plan when needed
Support internal mobility and advancement opportunities of new Nuvance Health workforce employees through targeted communications of internal training, mentoring and academic offerings
Serve as a point of contact between workforce development team and internal stakeholders, including Hospital leadership and functional Manager/Supervisors, HR, HEDI, Communications, etc

Required

Three or more years of experience in program management, operations, and logistics
Demonstrated experience in workforce and career development
Experience working with community- based organizations, nonprofits and academic institutions
Experience in coordinating teams and client stakeholders
Proven success in a corporate setting (preferred), working with all levels of management
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Valid Driver's License- Regional travel will be required
This is a hybrid role, but regular attendance at external meetings and at Corporate HQ in Danbury, CT will be required. Flexibility will be key

Preferred

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
Excellent MS Office experience: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills. CRM/ATS experience a plus
Demonstrated analytic skills in gathering and interpreting data to develop metrics that measure desired outcomes
Previous Healthcare experience a plus
