Responsibilities

Underwrite acquisition and wholesale transactions, including structured financing, loan purchases, and participations

Conduct financial analysis of borrowers, guarantors, and counterparties, with emphasis on C&I and CRE credit exposure

Assess loan structure, collateral value, and repayment sources to ensure creditworthiness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Prepare complete credit memos and present timely findings and recommendations to the credit committee

Collaborate with origination and Chief Investment Officer to identify credit risks and establish policy compliance and pricing

Review and analyze third-party reports such as appraisals, environmental assessments, and rent rolls

Support due diligence and documentation for loan purchases, participations, and acquisitions

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline underwriting efficiency and enhance credit quality
