Senior Coordinator, Revenue Cycle

Responsibilities
Follow-up with both government and non-government insurance companies on open invoices associated with the dispensing of prescription medication via telephone, internet, and in writing
Maintain supporting chronological notes that detail action taken to resolve outstanding account balances
Maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems, including all billing/collection reports, queues, or diversions while remaining in accordance with payer and company policy guidelines
Contact insurance companies, copay assistance organizations, and partnering with account managers as needed in order to ensure accurate claims processing
Resolve escalated PBM Client questions and / or issues independently
Qualification
Required
2 years of experience performing healthcare reimbursement / collections or medical insurance billing
1 or more years of experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment
Must be able to commute into the Monroeville office
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Insurance billing or collections experience
Customer service in a healthcare environment
Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system
Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment
Attention to detail
Ability to utilize analytical skills
Ability to navigate through multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on importance while displaying strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written
