Simulacra is a high-growth organization in the packaging sector, seeking a Sales Engineer who will design and deliver engineered solutions for complex production environments. The role involves developing revenue streams, serving as a technical advisor to customers, and managing relationships across various teams to enhance system performance.

Responsibilities
Develop new revenue streams by advising manufacturers on automation and packaging system improvements across regulated production environments
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers by evaluating operations, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing performance-driven solutions
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, applications, and project teams to scope, price, and deliver customized systems
Lead customer engagements from early discovery through contract execution, ensuring commercial and technical alignment
Grow assigned accounts through ongoing relationship management, system enhancements, and lifecycle support opportunities
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience selling capital equipment, automation, or industrial technology in a technical sales capacity
Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding aggressive annual sales targets in complex, consultative sales cycles
Strong working knowledge of packaging machinery, material handling systems, and automated production lines
Ability to interpret technical documentation, layouts, and equipment specifications
Preferred
Familiarity with food, beverage, dairy, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments
