EMS Customer Service Representative
Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service is the largest independent, locally owned, and operated emergency medical services provider in the Midwest. They are seeking an EMS Customer Service Representative to manage calls, pre-arrange transport for patients, and provide customer service support.

Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and direct calls for entire company
Distinguish the need for emergency transportation
Pre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for the patients
Arrange specialty and critical care transportation
Provide information and assistance for customer service inquires as needed
Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personal
Provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport
Develop effective solutions for customer service issues
Direct calls to Flight Desk as appropriate
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pleasant, professional phone manner
Detail oriented
Typing skills of 30 wpm or better
Ability to excel in high-stress environment
Adapt to frequently changing policies
Ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognizing when to apply them
Must pass 2-3 weeks of training
EMD certification will be provided by Superior within 1 year of employment
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Medical background a plus
