Custom Building Products is a high-volume manufacturer of stone and tile installation and beautification products, and they are seeking a Production Associate to join their team. The role involves operating equipment, making adjustments, and ensuring safe production practices on the production floor.

Responsibilities

Operates various pieces of equipment in the manufacturing of Custom products

Makes minor adjustments on machines to ensure proper bag weights and production rates

Must be able to determine when to report operating problems to supervisor and maintenance department

Requires the ability to hand stack finished product during times of equipment outages or on some smaller volume production lines

Must comply with all safety rules and regulations at all times

Must perform housekeeping duties and reclaim all usable material

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required

Great work ethic and impeccable attendance

Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions

Intermittently required to use hands, arms, legs, feet, body, and truck to carry, lift/lower, push/pull up to 55 lbs

Must have good vision and hearing

Must be capable of managing the high job demands associated with employee supervision, working extended hours, meeting production targets, and dealing with equipment failures or malfunctions

Solid previous work experience required
