Responsibilities

Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements
Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements
Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
Proactively generate new business through networking, prospecting, and referral partnerships with realtors, builders, attorneys, and community organizations
Implement the company’s Daily Success Plan to consistently build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral partners to expand market presence and drive growth
Educate borrowers on loan programs, interest rates, and closing costs to guide informed financial decisions
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the mortgage process
Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and partners to ensure smooth, timely closings
Coordinate with borrowers and third parties to gather and prepare all required documentation for underwriting approval
Deliver exceptional service and clear communication to ensure a positive borrower experience
Meet or exceed monthly sales and production goals in alignment with company targets
Stay current on market trends, loan products, and industry guidelines to provide clients with the best lending solutions

Required

Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor's degree required
Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration
Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations
Proven track record of success in sales or mortgage lending (mortgage experience preferred, but not required for top sales performers)
Strong business development skills with the ability to build and maintain referral relationships
Highly motivated, goal-driven, and disciplined in daily activities — committed to implementing the Daily Success Plan
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and guide clients through the mortgage process
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Must meet all state and federal licensing requirements (NMLS license or ability to obtain)

Preferred

Familiarity with loan products, underwriting guidelines, and the mortgage process (a plus, but training provided)
Bilingual in another language is a significant asset and highly valued in serving our diverse client base
