Responsibilities
Perform a variety of design and drafting assignments and associated tasks to support the needs of Land Development, Civil Engineering Design, and Environmental Permitting projects
Produce high quality deliverables in an efficient manner
Demonstrate a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clientele, company management/colleagues and regulators
Qualification
Required
Approximately 5-10 years of site/civil engineering design with related AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D (standard drafting techniques, terminology and applications)
Proficiency with developing 3D surfaces, alignments, plan/profile drawings, application of road templates, and developing cut/fill quantities
Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
Solid skills in planning and scheduling, organization, problem solving and decision-making
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting and design is preferred but not required
Land Development and GIS experience preferred
Mining, energy, and oil & gas project experience is a plus
Survey/field experience is a plus (download and import survey points into CAD and prepare base mapping, export survey data to instruments as a field package)
