The Land Acquisition Manager will provide expertise in maximizing profitability by securing strategic locations for development while maintaining relationships in the residential property market.

Responsibilities

Enable adequate supplies of desired properties to be secured at competitive prices in strategic locations
Identify alternate forms of financing when securing land purchases
Prepare feasibility analysis to determine the feasibility and desirability of a parcel of land
Develop conceptual and preliminary cost estimates and cash flow models for the total site

Required

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of applicable experience in real estate land acquisition
Ability to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers
Ability to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier)
Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted
Ability to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing
Ability to travel to sites regularly throughout the day
Entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to work well when given space to be creative
Driven by completing goals, and developing systems and processes
Energized by strategy development and feasibility analysis
Strong negotiator and problem-solver
