Atrium is a multi-location restaurant group with operations across the United States. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Accounts Payable operations across all restaurant locations
Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, lease accounting, and asset capitalization/tracking
Supervise, coach, and develop AP team members; allocate workload to ensure timely and accurate processing
Manage AP month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS for all AP-related transactions and reporting
Oversee Development and CapEx budgets, fixed asset tracking, and classification
Manage lease-related obligations, including recognition and reporting of lease liabilities and assets
Collaborate with the Controller on annual audits and ensure accurate AP/asset documentation
Identify and implement systems, automation, and process improvements
Support annual budget preparation and cash flow forecasting for AP expenditures
Develop and enforce AP-related policies, procedures, and internal controls
Analyze vendor and payment trends to optimize cash flow and cost savings
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Uphold all company policies and procedures

Required

Minimum 2+ years of experience managing a team
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards
Proven track record in supervising AP operations in a multi-location or fast-paced environment
Proficiency with accounting systems and AP automation tools
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

Preferred

Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location retail industry
Prior experience with lease accounting and fixed asset management
