Senior LevelNew York Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong expertise in database administration and modern infrastructure practices. The role focuses on managing Oracle RDBMS environments while integrating cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to ensure scalable and secure database operations.

Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle RDBMS environments for high availability and performance
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for database and related infrastructure
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines
Manage and configure AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) to support database deployments and operations
Develop and maintain core infrastructure automation for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues across development, staging, and production environments
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS administration, tuning, and troubleshooting
Proven expertise in Terraform for IaC development and deployment
Some experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation
Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly in database hosting and infrastructure
Ability to develop and manage infrastructure automation for cloud-based environments
Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in cloud ecosystems
Preferred
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
