Responsibilities
Perform inspections using gauges, metrology tools, and test equipment per written instructions
Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials following established procedures
Conduct quality audits on internal manufacturing processes using standardized tools and document findings thoroughly
Maintain inspection forms, storyboards, and databases in collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligned with control plans and ECNs
Clearly report quality issues, compile data for reports, join improvement teams, and identify areas for enhancement
Support internal quality audits, ensuring accurate documentation of details
Generate quality documentation, including first article inspection reports
Verify and calibrate measurement tools to ensure ongoing accuracy
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of quality experience
Familiarity with basic quality principles, standards, and continuous improvement tools
Understanding of key statistical concepts including control charts, variation types, process capability, and Gage R&R
Experience using and calibrating a variety of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs) and maintaining M&TE records
Skilled in blueprint reading (including GD&T), inspection methods, and sampling plans
Proficient with data entry, Microsoft Office, and Minitab
Ability to lift up to 50lbs up to 4 hours a day
