Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, manufacturable medical device products using established engineering principles

Support existing products to improve quality, manufacturing efficiency, cost, and supply continuity

Translate customer and user needs into engineering requirements through literature reviews, interviews, direct observation, competitive analysis, prototype evaluations, and clinical or simulated use studies

Develop product, packaging, and process specifications based on defined requirements

Develop and execute test methods, including defining measurement equipment, test setups, measurement system analysis, and data analysis

Prepare detailed technical reports documenting design verification, testing, analysis, and design changes

Ensure compliance with company quality policies and all applicable local, state, federal, and safety regulations

Provide technical leadership and support the professional growth of team members
