Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider in the Electronics Manufacturing Services market. They are seeking a highly motivated Co-Op Student to join their Quality Engineering team in San Jose, CA, where the individual will contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance manufacturing operations and support customer needs.

Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Assist the Quality team to effectively support our customers needs and issues

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations

Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement

Assist in the creation of trending reports

Assist the Quality Engineers in the day-to-day activities to support our customers

Support the NCMR process for the disposition of NC parts etc

Work closely with other departments for analysis and improvements initiatives

Assist in the creation and presentation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and external parties

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management

Required

Currently in year 3 or 4, of a 4-year degree program in Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related Engineering field

Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Be able to work at least 40 hours a week continually

Ability to follow oral and written guidelines

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Organized and detail-oriented

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite

Strong commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability

Willingness to learn takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
