Account Executive
Metric Geo is seeking a consultative Account Executive to bring innovative AI solutions to the water and utility industry. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle, build relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to address complex infrastructure challenges.
Responsibilities
Build strong, consultative relationships with prospects, customers, and partners through confident presence and trusted engagement
Clearly articulate our value by demonstrating deep knowledge of the product, use cases, and value proposition, including delivering compelling product demos to qualified leads
Proactively source and qualify opportunities that align with both customer needs and business objectives, always prioritizing the customer’s long-term success
Collaborate closely with territory partners and resellers, maintaining regular communication on active deals and strengthening partner relationships
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, next steps, deal stages, probabilities, and communications in HubSpot. Strong CRM hygiene enables our marketing, customer success, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience before and after the sale
Report directly to the Director of Sales for the Southeast region and leverage their guidance and support to successfully close deals
Qualification
Required
Are based in, or willing to relocate (without assistance) to one of the following U.S. states: FL, GA, LA, AL, MS, CO, OR, WA, UT, NV, AZ
Are personable and approachable: customers buy from people they like
Are trustworthy: customers buy from people they trust
Are professional and credible, able to confidently represent cutting-edge AI technology with expertise and legitimacy
Are highly motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and a drive to see deals through to close
Have experience or working knowledge in civil engineering or the water/utility sector (e.g., GIS, work order systems, hydraulic modeling)
Are a collaborative, low-ego team player who values teamwork over office politics
Enjoy travel and thrive in a 'road warrior' role, with the expectation of spending 70% or more of your time traveling to meet customers face-to-face
Preferred
Have prior experience selling or supporting SaaS solutions for utilities or government entities
