Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of storage solutions, including Cloud, on-premise, and hybrid implementations, Object, File, and Block Storage technologies, SAN and NAS architectures, Backup and Recovery solutions

Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitor offerings to sustain technical leadership in the field

Collaborate with sales teams to define customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions

Drive responses to RFP / RFI

Map customer requirements to Sanmina Corporation’s product and service offerings, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementations to highlight value propositions

Act as the technical point of contact during the pre-sales lifecycle to address questions and concerns

Help the team build a strong client relationship to acquire new customers and foster long-term partnerships

Provide valuable insights and feedback to product management teams regarding Competitor pricing models, Emerging market trends, New and innovative technologies in storage solutions

Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, customer functions, and industry-wide events to promote solutions and build networks

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and R&D, to ensure alignment on technical strategies and objectives

Build and manage a high-performing technical presales and support team

Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Oversee the technical presales and support operations to ensure seamless execution of projects

Identify and recruit top talent to strengthen the team’s capabilities

Required

BS / MS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years of experience in the industry (Software/Firmware solutions in storage and/or AI/ML)

Proven expertise in Software, and Hardware technologies

Extensive background in storage solutions such as SAN, NAS, Backup and Recovery systems, Object, File, and Block Storage

Familiarity with hybrid and on-premise storage implementations

Excellent understanding of storage protocols and storage virtualization

Strong client relationship-building skills for acquiring new customers

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and energetic environment

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences

Strong understanding of computer architecture and associated technologies

Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitor offerings to sustain technical leadership in the field
