Responsibilities
Lead and grow a department of Project Managers, Engineers, Scientists, Analysts, Designers, Technicians, and support staff
Oversee project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality align with client and company expectations
Foster a culture of servant leadership by coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff in career development
Assign projects, balance workloads, and monitor resource needs across the department
Collaborate with other Department Managers to coordinate workload-sharing and cross-sell services
Drive business development efforts through proposals, client engagement, and long-term relationship building
Provide technical oversight, including design review and approval of project plans
Champion the Jones Edmunds Quality Program to ensure strong QA/QC processes across all projects
Manage personnel activities including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and conflict resolution
Represent the firm as a visible leader internally and externally
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field (or equivalent progressive experience)
10+ years of professional experience in consulting or a related field, including 3+ years of successful project management
Florida Professional Engineer, Geologist, or Architect registration may be required
Knowledge of project performance metrics
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
