Client and Treasury Manager
Beneficial State Bank is a B-Corp bank committed to transforming the banking industry and promoting sustainable prosperity. They are seeking a VP, Client & Treasury Manager to develop and analyze commercial deposit and treasury management business, expand existing relationships, and provide exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities
Establishes, builds and maintains professional banking relationships with clients/prospects who utilize depository/cash management services; calls on commercial, small business, non-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals to develop new relationships
Facilitate the development of profitable and quality, mission aligned relationships throughout the Bank including referrals to other business units
Work directly with the Director of Client and Treasury Management, other leadership members and/or other personnel in the development of a sales strategy for the respective area of responsibility while ensuring the execution of the strategy
Ensures that sales growth and exceptional service is in place
Provides consultative services to the client to ensure the client is aware of the benefits of the treasury management services being recommended
Develops and executes sales presentations for customers/prospects including cost/benefit analyses; service and fee comparisons and written proposals
Makes joint calls, when appropriate, with commercial / small business lenders, branch managers and team members to provide coaching and guidance to assist in acquiring new business and/or closing the deal
Works closely with other team members within the bank to identify new business opportunities
Has a basic knowledge of the overall array of bank services available for both consumer and commercial clients, and cross-sells those services as needed by the client
Provides annual Treasury Management reviews and site visits for clients to identify changes that need to be made to their services and inform the client of new services available
Provides ongoing Treasury Management training for other bankers to ensure the team is aware of the Treasury Management services available and as new products are being developed and rolled out in each market
Completes entire package necessary for support staff to set up, open and fund new relationships properly
Attends trade shows, conferences and networking events to ensure the bank’s services are being marketed appropriately in the markets we serve
Tracks all sales-related activities in the bank’s Client Relationship Management system, including sales pipeline and client/prospect calls
Entertains clients at networking events, lunches, dinners or other planned events as needed, which may require early morning or evening attendance
Participates in an annual incentive plan measuring new business eligible per plan document
Monitors and manages expenses on an ongoing basis, and prepares monthly expense reports for management
Practice and lead in a client service excellence standard policy for entire organization
Investigating and solving clients’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants
Analyzing statistics or other data to determine the level of client service the organization is providing
Developing feedback or complaints procedures for clients to use
Developing client service procedures, policies and standards for the organization or department
Meeting with other managers/ staff/ department to discuss possible improvements to client service
Training staff to deliver a high standard of client service
Lead or participate in treasury management product innovation and strategic planning
Recommends improvements in existing products or product mix to ensure the bank remains competitive and clients are appropriately serviced
Mentor other officers within the Beneficial family footprint on expertise of deposit and treasury management product mix
Become a leader in respective community charged with driving brand, mission and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required and/or have minimum 8 years of experience demonstrated to be applicable to job requirements
Extensive and in-depth knowledge of product delivery systems
Comprehensive and practical knowledge of banking, operations and cash management products
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations
Mentoring skills to train and guide less experienced team members and other banking departments
Demonstrated capacity to sell products/services within the financial services industry
Ability to schedule and complete tasks and duties without constant, direct supervision
Working knowledge of PC spreadsheet, word processing, and production software. i.e. Microsoft Office Products
This individual must demonstrate a history of excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have the ability to respond appropriately to customer inquiries in a fast-paced work environment while handling multiple tasks
Demonstrate aptitude for detail work and ability to effectively meet specific deadlines
This person must be able to respond under pressure, and be able to effectively deal with multiple priorities and schedules
Must have a clear, audible speaking voice, ability to read and comprehend handwritten forms, and the ability to hear instructions or requests
Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
