Responsibilities
Position requires person to be a professional, self motivated person with negotiation skills
Enhance the supply chain through data and cost analysis in order to minimize material costs within the region
Interface with the supply base, supply chain peers and plant level teams
Follow strategies for focus areas to include material cost optimization and inventory management
Candidate will possess problem solving skills in order to assist in resolving a wide range of issues involving plant and/or supplier inquiries, complaints, or special requests
Timely, accurate, and thorough communication through telephone, email, and face to face meetings
Collaborate with management, plant programs teams to improve the cost reduction process from data collected
Candidate will be required to develop and report cost management related metrics and analysis
Qualification
Required
U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in related field or years of experience in lieu of degree
5+ years experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the contract manufacturing field
Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to analyze data and negotiate
Preferred
Oracle experience is a plus
