Mentors and coaches other engineers and contributes to a strong culture of code quality and simplicity

Leads the technical design and end-to-end delivery of multi-person, cross-team projects

Drives platform architecture, defining abstractions and long-term technical direction for the team

Balances long-term vision with near-term delivery on high-visibility projects

Required

4+ years of professional software engineering experience in Go

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience

Proven ability to deliver complex features with an emphasis on code simplicity and operational reliability

Experience leading multi-person technical projects, in partnership with other teams

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience leading a team and mentoring software engineers

Experience in Postgres and / or React

Experience building and architecting distributed applications

An interest in infrastructure automation
