Spruce Technology Inc. is a mid-size, award-winning technology services firm seeking a Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer. The successful candidate will develop and implement technology strategies, lead technology teams, and manage vendor relationships to align with business goals.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing a technology strategy that aligns with the DSS's business goals, objectives and budget
Leading and managing technology teams to ensure projects meet business needs and deadlines are met and are within budget
Ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place and managing technology-related risks within DSS
Managing vendor relationships and establishing technology partnerships to support DSS's technological needs
Attracting skilled technology professionals and fostering their growth, including converting consultant lines into permanent positions

Required

Advanced degree in a technology-related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology
Extensive experience in tech leadership, software development, and scaling tech organizations
Deep knowledge of architecture, infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
Strong strategic planning, financial management, and leadership abilities
Expertise in cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
Experience in vendor management and technology partnerships
Proven experience in talent acquisition and development
Greater consideration will be provided to candidates who have at least ten (10) years' experience providing services of a similar size and scope at an executive level of supervision
