Responsibilities
Perform detailed electrical failure analysis on components, circuits, and systems to identify root causes of failures
Use advanced diagnostic and analytical tools, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzer, TDR, DMM to conduct failure investigations
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop corrective and preventive measures
Document findings in comprehensive reports, presenting root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Lead and/or assist in defining strategies for failure analysis processes and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience
Hands-on experience in electrical validation, electrical failure analysis, and design of experiments (DOE)
Proficiency in electrical diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzer, TDR, curve tracer, DMM, Oakgate
Experience with Cadence Allegro Viewer, LTSpice and Data Analysis tools
Experience with electrical interfaces such as I2C, UART, JTAG, SMBus, SPI, PCIe
Familiarity with analytical tools such as Microscope, FLIR, XRAY
Familiarity with JEDEC standards - NAND, DRAM, SRAM
Ability to work with various OS - Windows and Linux, and write test and automation scripts with C and/or python
Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to conclusions and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
