Provide clerical assistance for the BAC operational needs. Assist BAC staff with DOCUsign creation
Required NCAA Compliance. Maintain working knowledge and comply with all NCAA compliance, Big West Conference, Athletic Department and CSULB rules and regulations that apply to working with the NCAA student-athlete population

Required

Under the direction of the Director of the Bickerstaff Academic Center (BAC); and the Assistant Director of Academic Support the incumbent assists with providing academic support clerical assistance, clerical support for BAC programs, and general reception duties for the BAC
During the academic semesters (fall and spring) workday hours will be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the Center between the hours of 9am to 9pm Monday through Thursday
Assist the Assistant Director for Academic Support with professional execution of all aspects of tracking and maintaining BAC and University databases for student-athlete academic support services
Front desk receptionist support assistance & maintain academically enriching study environment for CSULB's NCAA student-athlete population
Provide clerical assistance for the BAC operational needs
Assist BAC staff with DOCUsign creation
Required NCAA Compliance
Maintain working knowledge and comply with all NCAA compliance, Big West Conference, Athletic Department and CSULB rules and regulations that apply to working with the NCAA student-athlete population
Excellent word processing and excel skills to prepare manuals and/or other documents
The ability to multi-task, be flexible and understanding
Maintains a professional demeanor at all times when working with faculty, staff, and student
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with CSULB staff and students
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures
Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a 'vision of excellence.'
Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required
Sedentary work - Involves mainly sitting. Walking and standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects. (10 pounds or less)
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment
CSULB will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information
Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position
