In this position, you’ll leverage GIS and CAD tools to create detailed maps and schematics that support the design, construction, and maintenance of gas facilities.

Responsibilities
Enters pipeline information and locations into GIS from as-built work order system and proposed sketches
Maps and maintains geographic information system data, including parcels, streets, and addressing from digital and paper survey plats
Prepares cartographic maps for internal and external customers to represent pipeline locations or analysis of data
Maintains standard electronic and hard copy maps, drawings, and record sets as changes are received from user groups, including proper interpretation of construction prints, technical reports, gas work orders and other sources for detection of necessary modification or required re-draw
Prepares construction drawings for various user groups; correlates user instructions, sketches, survey notes, maps, engineering drawings, and records to achieve an accurate and functional design layout
Prepares special drawings for various users, which may include plan and profiles, pipeline schematics, valve assemblies, and three-dimensional representations
Qualification
Required
A high School or General Education diploma
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
One (1) year of GIS experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline
Preferred
Demonstrated experience with gas utility mapping using geometric network or utility network environments
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
