Electrical Project Manager I (PM-I)

Responsibilities

Plan and execute projects using PMI (Project Management Institute) project management standards, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality
Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
Lead the scope development, design, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems and components within generating facilities
Manage project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases

Required

Associate's degree with 2 years related work experience
High School/GED and 5 years related work experience, in lieu of associate's degree and work experience

Preferred

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
Prior experience in utility, power generation, or industrial project management
Working knowledge of electrical systems and components used in power generation environments
Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (NEC, local codes)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
PMP certification or equivalent PMI-based training preferred
Proficient with project scheduling, cost control, and forecasting tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
