Review customer documentation for completeness and accuracy of identifying information
Verify customer identities using established documentary (e.g., government-issued IDs) and non-documentary methods (e.g., public databases)
Escalate discrepancies or missing information to senior team members for resolution
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with retention requirements
Stay informed on CIP policies and procedures and participate in training sessions
Qualification
Required
High School degree or equivalent
Client-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Ability to learn compliance requirements and adapt to changing regulations
Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry
Effective communication skills for working with internal teams
Ability to learn bank systems and compliance tools quickly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
1+ years' in banking, finance, or a compliance-related field preferred
