Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and scale NLP / NER models for legal entity extraction

Transition from third-party tools to custom, in-house ML models

Improve model accuracy, performance, and cost efficiency

Optimize pipelines to reduce GPU dependency and explore CPU-based solutions

Tune and benchmark models; perform before vs after performance and cost analysis

Conduct deep data analysis and prepare high-quality datasets for annotation teams

Deploy, monitor, and evaluate models in AWS production environments

Own post-deployment analysis and continuous improvement of models

Required

Strong NLP experience, especially NER and entity extraction

Experience with traditional ML models (e.g., LSM, BTSM or similar)

Advanced Python for data analysis and experimentation

AWS experience: EC2, S3, SageMaker

Experience working with high-volume data pipelines

Experience with LLMs

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
