Manager Advanced Therapies Procurement

Responsibilities
Lead or supports sourcing initiatives to identify the right supplier partners and build adequate material capacities to support the advanced therapies' business
Influence business decision-making to deliver ongoing value improvements and drive competitive advantage
Proactively engages business partners and/or category leaders to identify their needs and incorporate those needs into targeted strategies
Demonstrate a strong understanding of business needs and external market trends to support the development of robust new product sourcing strategies
Develop innovative and sustainable solutions to identify and mitigate risk, drive long-term, end-to-end value, and achieve unmet business needs. Identifies and pursues opportunities to develop supplier capabilities
Mitigate business risk through the understanding of commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements and the use of efficient contracting channels demonstrating standard processes and technology
Act as procurement authority in support to cross material category specific or cross category initiatives (may include Chemicals, EM, Packaging, Devices, Sterilization, direct and indirect services)
Represent procurement in End-to-End supply chain initiatives of manufacturing network, digital tools/ technology adoption, and resiliency
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree is required with a preference of study in business or technical/ engineering
MBA is preferred
A minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated skills in Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Category, and Supplier Management, preferably in the Supply Chain Environment
Strong partner management skills working with cross category, supply chain and other functional partners
Ability to lead, influence, partner on & shape projects without direct team / authority
Ability to engage, interact and negotiate value enhancing relationships with suppliers
Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization is able to effectively and efficiently move through transitions
Preferred
Education - CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or other certification
A demonstrated ability to work within a Supply Chain or Procurement Category
Experience in complex team member environment; rich influencing skills; understanding of complexities of Regulated industries
Experience with global procurement for External Manufacturing, Materials, and Services
Technical acumen to understand AT manufacturing processes
Strong business and finance competence, a deep understanding of managing for impact with team members
Proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)
The ability to understand and influence team members on differing viewpoints (e.g., cross-functional business leaders, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain)
