Responsibilities
Receiving inspection on Mechanical equipment, once inspection is completed, if anything is wrong/missing documentation track into performance tracking system, log into JDE and move that part to the warehouse
Use of measuring hand tools (calipers, micrometers, micro height, durometers)
Use of computers- Microsoft Suite, ERP-manufacturing
Read drawings/schematics- parts/electrical/any other type
Mechanical-Technical acumen E- QMS- knowledge of ISO 9001
Preferred - machining background, quality inspector experience (both using measuring equipment)
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma
Strong machining experience/skillset
DIRECT QC Inspector experience
2+ Years experience in an inspection role in a similar manufacturing facility
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 in a productive environment
Should be familiar with API requirements
Should have the knowledge of VAM, Tenaris thread inspection
Oilfield machine shop experience will be an added advantage
Must be able to demonstrate basic math, read blueprints / engineering drawings, and operate measuring equipment
Effective communication skills
