Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a multisite information technology vision, strategy and roadmap for the organization

Evaluate existing systems, identify inefficiencies, and design new or improved IT solutions and processes

Work with team members to understand and document detailed business and system requirements

Work with stakeholders (users, managers) to understand and document detailed business and system requirements

Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and assist with the installation and monitoring of new systems

Provide training to users and offer ongoing support for new systems and features

Prepare cost-benefit analyses and technical reports for proposed upgrades

Initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures for maximizing efficiency and usefulness of organization’s systems

Maintains a safe and secure work environment as it pertains to the technology infrastructure of the organization

Designs, develops, and implements systems architecture and supporting infrastructure

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments

Evaluates technological trends

Develops and handles annual IT budget and ensures cost effectiveness

Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers

Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Contributes to leadership efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and company priorities
