Responsibilities
Assist in the procurement of raw materials, consumables, and supplies needed for manufacturing
Review and process purchase orders in a timely manner
Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms
Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and shipments
Ensure that materials meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time
Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate invoice and payment
Help resolve any issues with deliveries, quality, or pricing discrepancies
Prepare and maintain reports related to purchasing activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial procurement
Basic knowledge of contracts and vendor agreements
