Responsibilities
Administration, Communications, & Customer Service: Refers students to the appropriate CED and University resources, based on their needs
Scheduling & Program Support: Assist in the process of assigned time requests and reports, and comprehensive exams when needed
Record Keeping & Inventory: Process/track special facility requests and parking arrangements
Personnel Matters: Assist in maintaining full time and part time faculty files. File student evaluations, appointment forms, and any other personnel related issues
Qualification
Required
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Excel and Word
Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft
Knowledge and experience with university policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and to be a team player
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Ability to interact politely
Has patience, be professional, and efficiently interact with many visitors and callers
Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling is required
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures
Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a 'vision of excellence.'
Equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required
