Labeling Analyst

Responsibilities

Develop nutrition and regulatory technical information for ingredients and products
Review and approve label graphics for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
Review advertising and promotional materials for technical accuracy and compliance
Provide nutrition and regulatory guidance to project teams to enable accurate decision-making
Stay current on nutrition and regulatory developments, identifying opportunities and implications for the business
Work primarily on reformulations of existing products in Hydration & Desserts and Elevation (Sauces/Dressings) business units, with changes primarily to color ingredients
Support specification review in Agile (materials, formulas, consumer units) and create Product Label Reports (PLRs)
Conduct artwork reviews in Atlas and ecommerce reviews in Salsify as needed

Required

Previous experience in an FDA-regulated environment, specifically in a label compliance role
Ability to handle multiple complex projects under tight timelines with a strong drive for results
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and internal reporting, with ability to learn product lifecycle management systems such as Agile and Atlas

Preferred

B.S. in Nutrition, Food Science, or a related scientific field
2+ years of experience in Regulatory, Nutrition, R&D, or Quality with a food manufacturer; or applied nutrition/dietetics; or food service/culinary experience
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pivot quickly and respond effectively to changing regulatory requirements
