Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test AI agents and agentic workflows
Implement prompt chains, function/tool calling, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Optimize AI performance including latency, token usage, and hallucination reduction
Build scalable backend AI services using Python
Integrate AI agents with internal systems, data platforms, and third-party APIs
Apply LLMOps best practices, including evaluation pipelines, vector database management, and CI/CD
Debug and triage issues related to non-deterministic model behavior
Analyze traces and logs to identify root causes of agent failures or looping behavior
Document agent architectures, prompts, and workflows for maintainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of IT / software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
Experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agent development
Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
Understanding of: Context windows, Temperature, Embeddings, Vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, etc.)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Preferred
Experience with Java
Advanced prompt engineering techniques (Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, Tree of Thoughts)
Designing agent memory systems (short-term and long-term memory)
Building automated AI evaluation and testing frameworks
Strong systems thinking around integrating probabilistic AI into deterministic systems
Experience with observability tools for LLMs and agents
Agile engineering best practices
