Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering design activities, including layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications
Serve as the electrical design interface with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
Design and evaluate systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution
Prepare conceptual studies, technical reports, and engineering proposals
Coordinate electrical efforts with other engineering disciplines, construction, and project teams
Act as electrical responsible engineer for material requisitions (transformers, switchgear, substations, UPS systems, bulk materials, etc.)
Ensure compliance with NEC code, ANSI, and IEEE standards
Support project execution by resolving electrical issues during design and construction phases
Mentor junior electrical engineers and provide technical guidance
Complete electrical documentation for installation, commissioning, and maintenance
Select components and equipment based on specifications, reliability, and project requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree + 5–8 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree + 8–10 years of relevant experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License – Electrical (Power) required
Strong knowledge and application of NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards
Experience with medium voltage systems (34.5kV / 13.8kV) and low voltage systems (480V, 208/120V)
Expertise in switchgear, MCCs, substations, UPS systems, and distribution boards
Proficiency in power system one-lines, schematics, and connection diagrams
Experience with electrical raceway design, grounding systems, and lightning protection
Prior experience as a Senior Engineer on medium to large industrial projects
Preferred
Data Center experience preferred
Ability to collaborate across multi-office EPC teams
India coordination experience preferred
