Responsibilities
Manages projects with some interdependencies to other systems and projects
Creates project schedules and plans and works with functional leads to secure resources
Accountable for projects completing within schedule baseline
Creates risk management plan and strategies to enhance, avoid, transfer, or mitigate the risk
Drives results independently with minimal supervision
Evaluates change requests and makes recommendations to accept, deny, or defer the change
Creates and manages project budgets. Manages project costs to ensure project completes within cost baseline
Facilitates project meetings and communicates with the project team, sponsor, and functional managers
Mentors project coordinators and less experienced staff in business processes and project management
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid Methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP Certification
Demonstrated ability to work directly with diverse business and IT technical team members in a strong team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 5 years of IT project coordination or IT project management experience
Advanced knowledge of project management processes and systems development methods
Minimum of 3 years of senior level IT professional experience such as Sr Software Developer, Sr Database Administrator, Business Analysis, or related role
