They are seeking an Expeditor to document and track shortages on the production line, work with various teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, and manage inventory effectively.

Responsibilities

Document and track current status of all shortages for jobs on the production line
Work closely with Purchasing, Shop and Manufacturing personnel to ensure timely delivery of shortage items
Replenish line-side stock
Stage ship-loose materials
Sequence materials for assembly and wiring
Audit parts return cart - return items to stockroom
Verify pick carts (kits from stock)
Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Hold for Disposition (HFD) and lost part requests in a timely and efficient manner
Attend weekly production meetings
Follow all safety rules on shop floor

Qualification

MRP report understandingOracle database queriesExcel proficiencyAnalytical skillsTask managementOral communicationWritten communicationOrganization skillsLeadership skills

Required

High school diploma or General Education Diploma
Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment

Preferred

Ability to read and understand MRP reports, stock status reports and customer order shortage report
Knowledge in running queries on the Oracle database and proficient with excel
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong analytical skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organization skills
Must be responsible and dependable
Must have demonstrated excellent leadership skills
