Represent various state-agency clients in administrative hearings sanctioning health care providers who have violated licensing and other laws
Defend state-agency clients from lawsuits in state and federal court
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experienced, licensed attorney
Passion for public service
Demonstrated commitment to protecting the unprotected
Ability to work effectively with different clients
Strong oral, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to articulate complex legal matters
Exhibit creativity and innovation in role as an assistant attorney general
Experience with administrative appeals
Strong writing skills
Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code
