Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and documentation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including supporting schedules and footnote disclosures
Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits, responding to inquiries and providing requested analysis and documentation
Manage multiple reporting workstreams concurrently while meeting strict filing and audit deadlines
Prepare, review, and submit required U.S. regulatory filings in compliance with applicable reporting standards
Coordinate and support financial reporting projects, including management requests, audit-related analyses, and ad hoc initiatives
Research accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP, evaluate reporting requirements, and document conclusions
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and technical documentation
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand how operational and financial activities impact external reporting and disclosures
Represent the Financial Reporting function in meetings when delegated by leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
2-3 years public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred
Oil and gas experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and external financial reporting requirements
Experience supporting quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and audits
Proven ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

CPA preferred or obtaining CPA
