Responsibilities
Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program
Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities
Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach
Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to customer experience model
Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment
Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches
Maintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consult with hiring managers
Prioritize and manage own workload to meet MSA requirements for service and productivity
Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank
May lead special initiatives by representing the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expert
Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise
Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts
Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues
Focused on specialized portfolio / niche capabilities
Work independently as the senior subject matter expert
Provide advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members and may coach and educate others
Considered a subject matter expert within a given area
Focus on medium -term issues (e.g. monthly-quarterly)
Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end
Undertake and complete a variety of projects and initiatives, may include the integration of cross functional processes within own area of expertise
Generally reports to a Senior Manager role
Qualification
Required
3+ years of corporate recruitment experience
Financial services or banking experience is required
Strong communication skills/interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skill
Ability to manage high volumes during peak season
Experience recruiting or a complex portfolio that across multiple lines of business
Preferred
Agency recruitment experience is a nice to have
