5+ years expCDW is seeking a highly skilled CMDB / CSDM Administrator to help evolve, streamline, and scale our Configuration Management Database and Service Model practices. In this role, you’ll work across architecture, operations, and service owner groups to build a repeatable, standards-driven approach for mapping Service Instances to CIs, driving better visibility and accuracy across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with CSDM and CMDB teams to define repeatable patterns for mapping Service Instances to CIs using tagging and standardized approaches
Assist Service Owners and support teams in applying and validating YAML-based tags that support CSDM/CMDB alignment and cost transparency
Identify opportunities to simplify class structures and relationship models to strengthen foundational data standards
Document tagging standards, mapping patterns, and exception handling for use across operational teams
Create, configure, and administer Dynamic CMDB Groups to support operational and governance needs
Qualification
Required
5+ years administering CMDB structures, governance, and lifecycle processes
Hands-on experience configuring CI classes, attributes, relationships, and model hierarchies
Strong knowledge of Identification & Reconciliation (I/R) rules and reconciling data from multiple sources
Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, patterns, probes, and CI ingestion methods
Proven experience resolving CI data defects and supporting audit or compliance remediation
Ability to interpret architectural requirements and translate them into CMDB design and configuration
Experience building dashboards or reports to measure CI data quality and compliance
