They are seeking a Technical Designer responsible for developing and preparing artwork for fabrication, focusing on refining projects into production-ready assets through digital sculpting, CAD modelling, and collaboration with fabrication teams.

Responsibilities
Support artworks through all project phases, in coordination with Project Team and Consultants
Sculpt, scan, and develop pattern strategies digitally for cast artworks in stainless steel, bronze, aluminium and other materials
Ensure design intent is translated into production-ready formats
Prepare print-ready 3D files, part identification, mounting, and assembly drawings
Work closely with fabrication, foundry, and consultant teams to coordinate design development, casting, and finishing methodologies
Communicate with internal project teams and occasionally with clients regarding project goals and progress
Monitor project execution to ensure design, quality, and client expectations are maintained
Contribute to and expand the company’s knowledge library, sharing valuable insights with team members
Qualification
Required
Experience or familiarity with metal casting processes
Comfortability and/or expertise modelling with Rhino 3D required
Comfortability and/or expertise sculpting in Z Brush required
Preferred
Familiarity with Rhino layouts and drawing sets a plus
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Grasshopper, understanding of benefits of procedural workflows
Experience with 3D printing software and workflows a plus
Familiarity with or willingness to learn 3D scanning a plus
Familiarity with or willingness to learn SolidWorks a plus
