Aspirus Health is a nonprofit, community-directed health system based in Wausau, Wisconsin, seeking a Director of Health System Epic Applications to lead their Information Technology team. The role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the enterprise application functions and personnel engaged in providing these services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling Aspirus’ Information Technology enterprise application functions and the activities of personnel engaged in the provision of such services

Qualification

Healthcare IT experienceEMR (Epic preferred)Analytical skillsLeadership experienceProcess improvement knowledgeCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare IT is standard, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with EMR (Epic preferred), ERP, Imaging, CRM, Automation and AI solutions
Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned subordinates
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with a team environment
Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial
Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position

Preferred

Master's degree or MBA
