Senior Controller
CFS is a company seeking a Senior Controller to oversee the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting. This key leadership role involves managing consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management across multiple entities
Manage consolidated financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
Ensure accurate revenue tracking, allocations, and related payout schedules
Monitor cash flow and coordinate tax planning and compliance with external advisors
Prepare multi-entity financial reports and dashboards to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Conduct variance analysis, consolidate results, and provide summaries highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Perform expense and profitability analyses to improve efficiency and performance
Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models to support cash flow, budgeting, and scenario analysis
Assist in modeling financial impacts of operational decisions and strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies
Manage vendor relationships and maintain corporate and tax documentation
Serve as a trusted financial resource for leadership, advisors, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity environments; public accounting or private industry experience is highly valued
Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidated reporting, and partnership accounting a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment
Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
