Ground Segment Systems Engineer (Secret clearance)

In this role, you will support Systems Engineering and Integration functions for the U.S. Space Force, focusing on the development and deployment of missile warning and reconnaissance capabilities.

Support a broad spectrum of Systems Engineering and Integration functions
Engaging with multiple performers and government organizations to aid in the delivery and configuration management of Relay Ground Station site engineering
NGG integration
NIO C2 Integration
MEO/pLEO Integration
Contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities
Qualification
Required
Secret Clearance
Bachelor's in Science, Engineering, Math or related technical degree
A strong track record of 6-7 years Systems Engineer experience. Must include ground systems as well
Working with leadership to scope out future actions and requirements - thrive in nebulous and chaotic environment
Strong System Engineer/Integration Engineer who understand the technical baseline of the system and can support tech baseline documentation processes
Can work with team on requirements management and Enterprise Resource Board Management
Can work onsite at Los Angeles Air Force Base at least 2-3 days weekly to work with leadership team
Expected on site in El Segundo at least 3x per week
Preferred
Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach (CAMEO)
Experience with physical and virtual networking
Knowledge of ground systems equipment engineering processes
Knowledge of missile warning mission and SBIRS
DoD SCI Clearance
