Responsibilities
Perform skilled work in the maintenance of facilities and/or equipment and in the operation of motorized equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two to three years related experience and/or training in trades area assigned; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
May be required to obtain a Registered Technician Pesticide License and a Fertilizer Applicator Certification within 12 months
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
