Associate Accountant

Responsibilities

Serve as a contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing and consolidation process
Assist in the review of legal entity financial statements and data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist with the annual audit and quarterly reviews
Assist in analysis of financial results and creation of management reports
Participate in maintenance and testing of the Company’s finance and accounting control policies and procedures
Performing other ad hoc projects as needed

Qualification

Bachelor Degree in AccountingCPA qualificationUS-GAAP knowledgeMicrosoft Excel proficiencyPublic accounting experienceOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA qualified or actively pursuing CPA designation (partially-qualified candidates are welcome)
Minimum 1–2 years work experience in public accounting, ideally with audit or advisory firm involving public companies
Strong Microsoft Office product experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency. Access proficiency desirable
Proven working knowledge of US-GAAP
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively
Strong work ethic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal communication and presentation skills with fluent English language proficiency
Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements
Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required, with reliable transportation
Ability to maintain a valid passport with flexibility for travel
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
May be required to pass security clearance investigation
