Responsibilities
Generate and send invoices to customers promptly
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and resolve disputes
Prepare aging reports and assist with month-end close processes
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy
Support audits and provide necessary documentation
Recommend improvements to AR processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and collections practices
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
