Responsibilities
Perform the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers
Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive child development program for preschool aged children
Provide support to students and parents
Implement a center or home-based education program for eligible preschool children assuring compliance with the Performance Standards of Head Start or State required program and other appropriate guidelines
Develop education plans to meet assessed needs
Interpret family and child eligibility for federal and State programs
Qualification
Required
Valid California Child Development Permit
Copies of transcripts showing Child Development units
Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification - in person training required
Must comply with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements for influenza, pertussis, and measles
Department of Justice/FBI/CACI fingerprint clearance
Tuberculosis clearance
SB 792 Immunizations clearance
Physical/lift test/drug screen clearance
