Senior Consultant / Manager – Accounting Advisory (Nationwide Travel Role)
Ignited Recruiting is conducting a confidential national search for a prestigious accounting advisory firm seeking experienced professionals with strong public accounting backgrounds. This travel-based consulting role involves providing hands-on accounting and financial advisory support, assisting with complex accounting matters, and working directly with client leadership.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on accounting and financial advisory support on client-driven initiatives
Assist with complex accounting matters including business combinations, carve-outs, restatements, and adoption of new accounting standards
Prepare and review financial statements, SEC filings, and technical accounting memoranda
Work directly with client accounting and finance leadership in a consultative capacity
Support financial reporting, technical accounting, and business process improvement projects
Travel nationally based on engagement needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
Minimum of 2+ years of external audit experience required (public accounting), even if currently in industry
Typically 3+ years of total experience (Senior through Manager level)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment
Willingness to travel nationally and work onsite at client locations
Must live within reasonable proximity to a major airport
Preferred
CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA (candidates in the exam process strongly encouraged)
Big 4 experience strongly preferred; candidates from other large national public accounting firms will be considered, particularly those with experience serving large and/or public company clients
